I ran my first BRS 5k at Southern Heights Brewing in Austin, Texas in March of 2019 and fell in love with the community. When we moved to Charleston, I was very surprised there weren't BRS events here. I'm so thrilled to build and grow this community in South Carolina. I've introduced multiple family members and friends to BRS and I love how each run is so fun and unique. In one of my fastest runs this year (2023), I came in fifth place behind two runners and two dogs. Our dog, Becky, has run in two events with me and beat me both times. I struggle to keep up with her.
